Since last Saturday, the Lord has been a dealing with me on the seed. Every day since then I keep hearing the Lord say ‘The Seed’. He said to me there are some seeds that you have planted that you have forgotten about. And the fruit of that seed is getting ready to come forth. The same day a seed is planted is not the same day it starts to produce fruit. It has to go through a process. It has to go down into the ground and die, that’s the only way it can bring forth fruit. Just like in John 12:24, Jesus said to His disciples, ‘except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit”. There is a death that has to take place before growth happens. I was doing some research last week and I was drawn to grapes. Upon research I discovered that once the seed is planted, it takes around three years before one starts to see fruit; so what happens in the first three years? The first year, there is no fruit. Even with no fruit, there is a nurturing that is required such as watering the seed and making sure it is getting the necessary light that it needs in order to grow. In the second year, little grapes start to appear but they are not quite the size or taste that is required so it is put through a process called Pruning.
Even the little fruits that starts to grow, it has to be cut off to produce bigger and juicier fruits. So what is your seed? It could be a special offering that you sowed years ago, or an act of kindness, it could have been a prophetic word and you’re still waiting for the manifestation (fruit) of that. Don’t give up, it is coming. The waiting season that you’re in is your pruning process, where it’s like you’re not producing any fruit. Everyone is questioning your Christianity because you’ve not won any souls in a while, in their eyes you’re not succeeding or accomplishing what they think you should be accomplishing. If this is how you feel I would like to submit to you that you’re going through your pruning process, in the pruning process, this is a time of cutting away, nothing grows at this stage, because things are being cut away. Be encouraged because the fruits that are about to manifest from this season of your life will be worth it. So don’t give up, your seed is about to bring forth fruit. I pray someone is blessed by this word like I was.
