Last Thursday’s broadcast, the focus was on the importance of not casting away one’s confidence according to Hebrews 10:35: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward”.
Confidence in the Greek is parrhesia, which means outspokenness (according to Acts 4:13) and boldness of speech (in 2 Corinthians 7:4). Your confidence in God is a reflection of your faith in God. Faith in Hebrews 11:1 is defined as “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Throughout the years, God has made it clear to me that faith is never embarrassed.
Faith is always rewarded. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that “without faith, it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. When you seek God in faith, there is a reward that is released to you in due time and season. In this season, the Lord is rewarding those who remain confident in Him.
Increased competence leads to confidence. When someone keeps showing up for you over and over again, your confidence in the skills and abilities of that person increases. We know, according to the scriptures, we are not to put our confidence in man- this is just a mere example.
It is the same for God. As He keeps showing up for us over and over again, it increases our confidence in Him. I want to encourage you to go back to your memory, how many times have God shown up for you? Those memories of how many times God has given you victory are what yield your confidence in God, which in turn yields the reward. Remain confident in God, and in due time, your confidence will yield a reward.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Father, help me not to lose my confidence in you. Lord, empower my faith in You. Lord, I ask that You increase my confidence in You. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. I thank You that my confidence is yielding a great reward. Father, I thank You that You have heard my prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen
Last Thursday’s live broadcast, I spoke about the importance of applying strategy and contending with the word of God over your life. It all started with me being woken up at 4 am last Tuesday, and I sensed something was off based on the intensity I felt in the atmosphere. As I started praying, I just started speaking what the Lord placed on my heart, and as I prayed and contended, I immediately felt a breakthrough a hour and 15 minutes later.
We have entered a season of warfare, and we are in a month of increased spiritual activity on both sides. So I shared these strategies on my Facebook page, and I am led to share them with you.
1 Pray from a place of victory, knowing who Your Father God is and the power that the name of Jesus Christ has.
2 Rebuke fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus- 2Tim 1:7 and Philippians 4:6-8
3 Put on the whole armour of God – Ephesians 6:10-18
4 Pray and release the blood of Jesus over your household and everyone and everything that concerns you- Ephesians 1:7
5 Come out of agreement with every covenant that has been forged in your dream – Galatians 3:13-14
6 Renounce the legal right that has caused these dreams to happen in the first place and repent of it- Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18
7 Rebuke and renounce every evil deposit and every satanic point of contact that was made based on you eating in the dream or any other immoral activity taking place in your dreams Proverbs 3:24-26 and 2Thessalonians 3:3
8 Ask the Lord to destroy every evil altar with your name and picture on it begin to reinstate the altar of God in your home and in your area both where you live and work. Begin to release the fire of the Holy Ghost and plead the blood of Jesus- Judges 6:25-28
9 Take communion- Matthew 26:26-28
This is not to be done ritualistically. In everything you do, you must do it by faith because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is a season to contend. Don’t sit there and allow the enemy to bully you out of the blessings God has and is releasing to you in this season.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, I thank You for divine strategy and for giving me the power and authority to tread upon scorpions and serpents according to Luke 10:19. Father, I thank You for empowering me to overcome every trap of the enemy in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
October 16th was my birthday, and I decided to go live to share a few birthday reflections and show my gratitude for all God has done throughout the last year. I am excited to announce that the link to my newest e-Book, ‘Nuggets From The Last Three Decades’, has now gone live.
I shared my gratitude for health and how God has healed my body from a few flare-ups that I encountered throughout the year. I shared how the Lord has empowered me in my endeavours and has strengthened me to go live for most Thursdays of this year. I reflected on the goodness of God concerning me. I started talking about the importance of obedience in this season. Acceleration will be the result of your obedience to God’s instruction this season. In this season, your response to God’s divine instructions will cause a collision between your Chronos and God’s Kairos, resulting in numerous breakthroughs. The word for this season is alignment. Not just in your obedience in the doing, but in timing. I encouraged everyone on the live broadcast that pain is necessary for the birthing process. Pain is the announcement that your baby is coming. Pain announces that the womb has become too small for the baby. Your response to pain should be to PUSH ( pray until something happens).
Prayer: Father, I thank you for allowing me to see another year. Father, I pray for grace to obey your every instruction. Father, in the name of Jesus, grant me the strength to walk out the journey that you have ordained for me. Amen
Here is the replay to last Thursday’s live and the link to my newest E-Book ‘Nuggets From The Last Three Decades’.
Last Thursday’s live focused on the Father’s love. God is inviting us to experience Him as a Father in this season.
In Psalm 103v 13 t says “ The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him”. Father in the Hebrew is Abba, and this scripture signifies God’s tender, nurturing and compassionate nature towards His sons and daughters, which draws on the intimate and protective relationship between a human father and his children, demonstrating God’s boundless love and care. This scripture highlights God’s consistent patience, provision, and forgiveness for those who fear and honour Him.
During the live broadcast, I discussed how God wants us to approach Him in the office of a son/daughter. With God as our father, we never have to do anything to earn the love of God. In Matthew 3:17, God speaks of Jesus as “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”. At that point, when God spoke this over Jesus, Jesus had not worked one miracle; he hadn’t died on the cross yet, just being in his sonship was what made God pleased with Him.
There are many father types in the scripture, one of which I referred to in the live broadcast, whereupon the prodigal’s son’s return in Luke chapter 15, he lifts his tunic and runs to his son, which was considered shameful for a man of his calibre, but in that moment, he was taking on the shame of his son and Jesus was showing us what God came in the flesh to do- He came to bear our shame and sin and reconcile us back to the Father. On the contrast, Jesse who is the father of David, left him out of the invitation to the anointing of his seven other sons in 1 Samuel 16.
Here are some key aspects of God as a Father in Psalm 103:13.
Tender Compassion- Psalm 103:13 compares God’s compassion for His followers to the deep affection and care a human father shows his children.
Provision and Guidance- just as a father provides for his children’s needs and guides them, the Lord cares for those who fear Him.
Patience and Forgiveness- as stated above, the father-child relationship in the scripture demonstrates God’s willingness to forgive and show tender kindness, even when His children go astray (Luke 15).
Personal and Loving Relationship- themes throughout the scripture emphasise God’s desire for an intimate, personal and loving relationship with His people.
Enduring Love- God’s love as a father is consistent and enduring, offering strength and support through life’s challenges.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you as a son/daughter. Father, I pray that you release your anointing and strength upon me. Give me the grace to receive your love as my Father. Lord, I surrender to You, and I walk in the adoption that You have released to me through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Remove the spirit of rejection from me. Where I have been rejected by father types, Lord deliver me and heal me of every father wound. I receive the cloak of acceptance. Father, I thank You that I am accepted by You. Father, I receive You as my Father and every blessing that You have for me in Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen
Thursday night’s broadcast was powerful. I taught about the importance of contending for your prophecy and God’s desire to not only see you get a prophecy but He wants to see you walk in the manifestation of your prophetic word. As I prepared for the session, I saw these three words;
Prophecy > Implementation> Manifestation
There is a prophetic responsibility that the recipient of a prophetic word has. Whilst it is exciting to receive a prophetic word of what God is getting ready to do, our posture and how we are carrying the prophecy and how we are carrying out the principles tied to that prophecy, is paramount. Obedience is the keyword here. In order for you to see the manifestation of the prophetic words over your life, you must obey the instructions Heaven has released concerning you. In John 2v5, “His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”.
In verses 7- 8, Jesus gives the instruction, and the servants obeyed, and in verse 9, you see the ruler of the feast tasting the water turned to wine. In verse 10, the wine was described as “thou hast kept the good wine until now”. In Jewish tradition, the good wine was always saved for the beginning of the feast, and when the guests got drunk, they would bring out the bad wine.
This scripture shows what it means to experience prophetic manifestation- an instruction was given, the instructions were followed, so obedience ensued, and as a result, the miraculous was experienced.
I received seven principles and steps to experiencing prophetic manifestation:
1 Receive
2 Cultivate
3 Strategize
4 Put systems in place
5 Prepare
6 Position yourself
7 Know when to speak and when to be silent
To understand those seven principles in their fullness, you will need to watch the replay of Thursday night’s broadcast.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that you empower me to obey your divine instructions to see prophetic manifestations. Father, align me with your divine and perfect will. For every word that is still hovering in the heavenlies concerning me, Father, release the divine strategies to me that will help me to know what to do or where I need to be postured and positioned to walk in my season of breakthrough. Father God, I thank You that You have heard my prayer in Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Thursday night provided a solemn yet clear instruction to become unmuzzled and raise our sound. The word muzzle means to prevent a person or group from expressing their opinions freely. For many of you reading this blog, the Lord is removing circumstances and situations that have been sent to silence your sound and voice in this season. Your sound has purpose, and it has an assignment to set the captives free according to Isaiah 61:1.
In Acts 18:9, the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision, “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent”. In verse 10, the Lord continues, “For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city”.
God was reassuring Paul in his assignment. In Acts 9, we see Paul’s dramatic conversion, and nine chapters later, we see Paul in Corinth preaching the gospel and even winning over the synagogue leader and his entire household in verse 8. The Lord was preparing Paul in verses 9-10 of Acts for the attack that was coming from the Jews of Corinth.
For many of you, God is saying the same thing: He is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you. During the live broadcast, I spoke briefly on my personal battle with the spirit of Jezebel, Python, Leviathan, and the religious spirit. These are the four forces that rise against a believer with a sound. They manifest as you embrace your anointing and start to pursue purpose. These are the four spirits that fight to keep a believer muzzled, especially the python spirit, whose sole purpose is to restrict your sound and choke the life and purpose out of you. Leviathan twists your words and causes unnecessary arguments, bringing about misunderstanding and misrepresentation. Jezebel likes to control and manipulate and tries to pervert you and your assignment.
The religious spirit misunderstands, misrepresents, and devalues the valuable message of the kingdom that you carry. Jesus refers to this spirit as swine in Matthew 7:6: “Do not cast your pearls before swine”. In other words, Jesus was warning his followers and disciples not to give what is sacred to those who will not appreciate or value it, as they trample it and turn against the giver of the pearls. The key to overcoming these forces is first to acknowledge that Jesus is more powerful and that God is the greatest power. Plead the blood of Jesus and pray the scriptures combined with fasting. Lastly, don’t give up, whatever you are gifted to do, that is your sound, and as long as you remain unmoved, that is where your victory is.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You are unmuzzling my mouth and that You are raising my sound. Father, I thank You that You have given me the victory over these forces that have tried to fight against my sound. Father, I thank You that according to Luke 10:19, You have given me authority over all the power of the enemy and You have given me the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions. I thank You that nothing can hurt me, and because of this knowledge, I go forth, and as I go forth, Lord, amplify and raise my sound in You in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You that according to Isaiah 59:19, when the enemy comes in like a flood that the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. I accept the mantle and the mandate to do as You have authorised me to do, and I will do what You have authorised me to do concerning my purpose in Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
Thursday night’s live was empowering and powerful. I taught from chapter two of my book ‘Transition: How to Get From Here to A Place Called There’. I shared a few nuggets on the eagle and why those who wait upon the Lord is likened to an Eagle in Isaiah 40:31.
Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.
Why the Eagle?
Eagles go through a process called metamorphosis. At around the age of 30, an eagle comes to a point in its life where nothing works, and its physical body condition deteriorates fast, making it difficult to survive. The eagle retreats to the mountaintop and, over five months, goes through a painful process called metamorphosis. Here, the eagle knocks off its beak by banging it against a rock. The eagle starts to rip out its talons and feathers until it falls off, and it sits there and waits until everything grows back. The eagle is renewed and has another thirty to forty years added to its life.
It is in your waiting that you are renewed and gain strength. I thought it was interesting how the wings of eagles are mentioned in verse 31. In the wings of an eagle, there are pockets of oil. As they mount up in the air, the oil pockets in their wings are what fuel their flight into the air.
Here are a few key facts on the eagle:
1 Eagles are fearless- eagles will never surrender to the size or strength of their prey.
2 Eagles are tenacious- other birds fly away from the storm with fear, but an eagle spreads its mighty wings and uses the current to soar to greater heights.
3 Eagles are high flyers- eagles can fly up to an altitude of 10,000 feet, but they can swiftly land on the ground.
4 Eagles possess vitality- eagles are full of life and are visionary
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray, renew my strength as I wait upon you. Release the eagle-like anointing upon life, refresh me for higher altitudes in my purpose towards and may Your name be glorified as I arise in purpose and destiny in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Acknowledgement is the acceptance of truth or the existence of something.
Something interesting happened to me as I sat in my consultant’s office at the hospital on Thursday.
She opened up her notes and went back to when I was admitted to the hospital in April of this year. Her statement not only surprised me, but the reaction that followed was quite interesting. As she acknowledged how I was treated and that it was not right, the tears flowed. I responded to her, “Your acknowledgement of my experience brought healing in that moment and letting me know that what I experienced did happen brought so much closure”. When it comes to women’s health, doctors, especially the male and sometimes the female doctors, tend to gaslight a lot, and I was in too much pain to call it out in April.
And that was what happened to me, especially when they refused at my request to give me another MRI scan. My consultant requested it in that moment and reassured me she was going to make sure I received all the support I needed, especially when I experience a flare-up from what they have called endometriosis and adenomyosis. My focus in the second quarter was simply to improve my health.
I started to think on various moments throughout my life when I have experienced various traumas or personal injustices and the process it takes for me to acknowledge that what happened did indeed happen. It was this Thursday that I learnt the power of acknowledgement. This is a word that as a believer at times we run from because there is a pre-conceived notion that acknowledging a matter or circumstance is a direct dismissal of one’s faith in God. But I have learnt throughout the scriptures that God’s power becomes more effective when you acknowledge where you are weak or have fallen short.
In 2 Corinthians 12v7-9, we see Paul making this acknowledgement. He acknowledged there was a thorn in his flesh and he begged God to take it from him three times. But God’s response was “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness”. God does not expect you to be disassociated from your reality. It is in your acknowledgement, not the acceptance of your circumstances, that invites God’s power and strength into your life. Acceptance is the act of embracing something as true or valid, implying the willingness to live with that said thing or to come into agreement. Acknowledgement is not coming into agreement with your circumstances; it is merely recognising something is not right, then taking the necessary steps to make the changes to experience the change in circumstance needed.
As a believer, I have had to acknowledge the disorder that was taking place in my body, yet never accepted or came into agreement with the doctor’s report. In my moment of acknowledging my weakness in the matter, I realised that I was merely making way for Jehovah Rapha to come into my life and heal me. Many times, it is the lack of acknowledgement that has kept many in the same cycle and bondage. The moment you acknowledge what is happening and come into agreement with God’s power, there lies your greatest deliverance. Tonight, as I write this article, I would like to invite you to acknowledge your reality and make room for God to come in and change your life.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I invite You into my life. Lord, I acknowledge and accept You as my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Lord, I acknowledge the circumstances that I am facing right now, and I am asking You, Lord, to release Your power into my life to perfect the weakness that I am currently experiencing. Father, I confess over my life that all is well. Father God, I come into agreement with what Your word says over my life. Father, I thank You for Your strength and power, and I thank You, Heavenly Father, that Your grace is sufficient for me in Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
On last night’s live broadcast, the focus was on ‘your disadvantage is God’s advantage.
The scripture was taken from Judges 3:15-20. This story covers Ehud, who was a Judge over Israel. He was described as one who was left-handed. In that day and time, those who were left-handed were from the Benjamite tribe and also deemed as societally abnormal. Nevertheless, God used what was deemed a disadvantage or disability to release the Israelites from captivity. Because Ehud was left-handed, he carried his dagger on his right thigh. In those times, the King’s men and guards would always search the left side of those who would go before the King, as they were right-handed. So, Ehud, being left-handed, whilst he was at a disadvantage societally, was able to conceal the weapon which would be used to take down the enemy, the King of Moab.
What is that thing in your life right now that looks like a disadvantage?
The Lord is saying that He is using your disadvantage for His advantage, and He is going to get the glory out of your circumstance. During the live session, I was reminded, and I had to encourage you with it that, according to Romans 8:28, all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Remember the thorn in Paul’s flesh in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9, Paul asked for the thorn to be removed three times, but God reminded him that His grace is sufficient for him and that God’s power is perfected in his (Paul’s) weakness.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, I thank You that You are using my disadvantage for Your advantage. Heavenly Father, I commit the areas of my life that require Your grace, and I ask that Your power be perfected in my weakness just like Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9. Father, I thank You that all things are working together for my good according to Romans 8:28, and I thank You that what society has deemed abnormal in my life, You are using that for Your glory in Jesus’ Name I pray, amen. Lord help me to see myself the way You see me, and I thank You that where I have been rejected, You are redirecting me now in Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Last night’s broadcast, I dealt with the topic ‘Apathy’.
For most of July, I have been hearing the word ‘apathy’ in my spirit.
What is Apathy?
Apathy means a lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern. It describes an emotional state where a person feels indifferent or unmotivated toward things that usually evoke interest or passion.
I decided to do research on what apathy is and how to overcome apathy as a believer of Jesus Christ.
What are some of the factors that lead to apathy in the life of the believer?
1. Emotional Burnout
When you’re mentally or emotionally exhausted, your body and mind shut down as a defence mechanism.
Common in caregivers, leaders, students, or those facing prolonged stress.
Warning signs: Feeling numb, drained, or uninterested in things you once enjoyed.
2. Depression or Anxiety
Apathy is a hallmark of clinical depression. You may stop caring because you’re overwhelmed by hopelessness, fear, or fatigue.
Example: “Why bother?” becomes a recurring thought.
3. Prolonged Disappointment
When you face repeated failure, unanswered prayers, or long seasons of waiting, apathy can grow out of frustration or loss of hope.
Proverbs 13:12 – “Hope deferred makes the heart sick…”
4. Overstimulation & Distraction
Constant scrolling, multitasking, and entertainment overload can numb your senses and make you disengaged from reality and purpose.
Example: A cluttered mind can’t hear God’s voice clearly.
5. Unresolved Sin or Guilt
Hidden sin, shame, or spiritual compromise can create distance between you and God, leading to spiritual apathy.
Isaiah 59:2 – “Your iniquities have separated you from your God…”
How can you overcome the spirit of apathy? Here are a few strategies that can help you overcome apathy;
1. Ask God to Renew Your Heart
Apathy often comes from spiritual dryness. The first step is to ask God to revive you.
Psalm 51:10 – “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Practical step: Pray honestly, asking God to restore your passion, joy, and desire for Him.
2. Remember Your First Love
Apathy can come when our love for God fades. Jesus calls us to return to our first love.
Revelation 2:4-5 – “You have abandoned the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.”
Practical step: Reflect on the time when you felt close to God. What were you doing then? Return to those habits (e.g. prayer, worship, fellowship).
3. Feed Your Spirit Daily
Just as we eat to stay alive, we must feed on God’s Word to stay spiritually awake.
Matthew 4:4 – “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
Practical step: Set aside time daily for Scripture reading—even 10 minutes. Let God speak to you through His Word.
4. Take Action in Faith
Apathy thrives on passivity. Faith requires action.
James 2:17 – “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
Practical step: Serve someone, encourage a friend, attend a small group, or volunteer. Action stirs the heart and awakens purpose.
Hebrews 10:24–25 – “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together…”
Practical step: Stay connected to your church, a prayer group, or trusted spiritual friends who uplift you. If your circle isn’t uplifting you, maybe it is time to think of shifting to new environments as God will lead you.
6. Fix Your Eyes on Eternity
Apathy grows when we lose sight of what truly matters. Focusing on eternity brings perspective.
Colossians 3:2 – “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Practical step: Journal or reflect on God’s purpose for your life and how He wants to use you.
A Prayer to Break Apathy:
Father in the name of Jesus, I honour, and I praise your mighty name. Heavenly Father, I confess my heart has grown dull and distant. Father, I ask that You reignite my passion for You and the purpose that You have called me to. Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord, and renew a right spirit within me, and restore my joy. I choose to seek You with all my heart. Father, I repent for turning away from You. Heavenly Father, I pray that You will restore my heart from deferred hope and help me regain a Godly perspective concerning the vision You have given me in Jesus’ name. I thank You Lord for hearing my prayers in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Hallelujah!!!!
